RecipientWoodward; Sir Arthur Smith (1864-1944); British palaeontologist
Date16 June 1911
DescriptionHe has more time on his hands than Sir David Prain and he therefore offered to look though the Philsophical Club books to see if they contain anything of value for the Hooker biography. He understands that these books are no longer with the Treasurer, but are kept in a box at the Royal Society. He hipes to go to the Society on 18 June and asks if a note to Harrison would give him access. As in the case of Darwin, no use of any material would be made without the permission of the Royal Society Club.
