DescriptionLangley is afraid that he might have confused Saxton with too much explanation in a short time, over the affairs of the Royal Society Club. There is not a vast amount of work to be done, and he repeats in writing the various tasks he has assigned. It was unfortunate that Sir William's letter arrived when Langley was on holiday, asking him to hand matters over to Saxton.
