TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Professor Sidney Kaufman, Department of Geological Sciences, Kimball, Campus
Date22 July 1977
DescriptionGold understands he took an interest in Gold's Wall Street Journal article and its implications. Gold would welcome a discussion with the Earth and Planetary scientists, and perhaps plan a joint attack on the central question of the origin of the carbon on the Earth. . How was it first supplied in the material that formed the Earth? How was it held to be gradually released into the atmosphere, as seems to hae been the case? What observations can now be made to shed light on this?
