TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Dr Alex Dessler, Department of Space Physics, Rice University, Houston, Texas
Date5 January 1977
DescriptionEncloses the preliminary write-up. Does not know what of it Dessler will distribute, in particular whether it would be tactful to distribute the very complimentary passage in Perkins's letter. Gold will leave that to Dessler to judge. States it was quite unsolicited - in fact he does not know if Perkins even knows Desselr's present position.

Will be in touch with him agin in February, upon his return from Europ. Wishes him all the best with this endeavour, and hopes the report is of some use to him.
