DescriptionContains an abstract and paper by Thomas Gold entitled, 'The inertia of Scientific thought', September 1988. The paper may have been for an IBM conference, 'Science and the Unexpected – A disturbing experience for scientists', 9-10 March 1989. Also contains a draft paper entitled, 'Shoehorn science'. Also includes copies of a Swedish letter entitled, 'Bevis finns för djupgas' ('Proof for deep gas') in 'Dagens Nyheter', 28 September 1991. The letter was written by three Swedish geologists and gave support to the theory of deep gas. Also includes copies of a letter in Swedish and English that Thomas Gold wrote for 'Dagens Nyheter' entitled, 'Sotra möjligheter för Siljanprojeket' ('Large possibilities for the Siljan project'), 30 September 1991. There is also a letter from Thomas Gold to the Editor of the 'New York Times' entitled 'The US and atmospheric carbon-dioxide emission', June 1992.
