Description | Hudson summarises three letters sent by him to Thomas Young regarding the quadrature of the circle, and then adds further calculations relative to the subject. He explains that he has calculated the value of pi and the quadrature and square of quadrature to upwards of 42 decimal places. Followed by copies of letters of 2 April 1825, 20 January 1826, and 9 June 1826 addressed to Young.
