Description | In 1878 the Council of the Royal Society made a grant of £50 from the Donation Fund towards the expenses of carrying on an investigation of the caves of Borneo, which it was thought might contain remains both of palaeontological and anthropological interest. Everett, having investigated the caves over a period of around nine months, shares his findings and observations.
Annotations in pencil. Includes one diagram of a cave in the text. Accompanied by four maps of the area.

Whilst the Royal Society declined to publish this paper in full, an abstract of the paper was published in volume 30 of the Proceedings of the Royal Society as 'Report on the exploration of the caves of borneo. - Introductory remarks - Note on the bones collected'.
