TitleCopy letter from [Richard] Threlfall, to the Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society
Date7 May 1917
DescriptionMakes observations on the Memorandum of the Sectional Chemical Committee on the supply of essential drugs [during the war].

Concludes that the whole report fails to disclose evidence of proper technical criticism though dealing with technical matters. Discusses ways that the industry can be assisted other than by control by a new Government department. Thinks that the Council should tell the Government that the chemical trade will need helping after the war.
