Gives Committee business -- consideration of Dr C J Martin's suggestion that an investigation be initiated into possible drugs to combat the disease, and proposes a scheme headed by Prof [Arthur] Cushny, of University College, and the committee's resolution to adopt this suggestion -- the decision to have Prof Cushny supervise the chemical part of the investigation, while Mr Plimmer undertakes the animal experiments at the Lister Institute -- the dispersal of funds for animals and materials and a proposed scheme of direction. p59.
