Distinguished principally for his important researches on dental pathology and on the variations in the number, position and structure of the teeth of the mammals, which have added a number of highly interesting and valuable facts to our knowledge of the odontology of the class. His last and reatest work, "Variations dn diseases of the teeth of animals", 1936, a quarto volume contianing over 1,000 illustrations, was based upon an examination, extending over many years, of the collections of skulls in all the principal museums of Europe adn America. List of principal papers enclosed.
