Distinguished for his investigations in chemotherapy and the treatment of tropical diseases. Introduced the use of ureastibamine in the treatment of kala-azar. He is the author of 'Studies in haemolysiss', 'Treatise on kala-azar', and some 144 publications, a list of which is attaached.
