A few days later he received a reprint of a paper on the same subject, from Dr Goldstein. Comments that the papers are mutually confirmatory and cover the same ground, detailing Mr Curtis's approach and findings. Seeks assistance from the Royal Society, emphasising that Mr Curtis's work was outcome of incidental observations made during his work on hydrogen and helium, which has been carried on since last October.
