Title | Letter from [John Scott] Haldane, Cherwell, Oxford, to [Robert] Harrison, [Royal Society] |
Creator | Haldane; John Scott (1860 - 1936) |
Date | 11 December 1914 |
Description | Apologises for an oversight on his part which resulted in him not replying to a letter of 7 December. Believes that it would be well to send round typed copies of Mr Graham's report to the Tyndall Committee, informing Graham did not send the papers to the Royal Society as they seemed more suitable for the Institute of Mining Engineers and the Chemical Society, and that he advised Graham to this effect, as they belong more to applied rather than pure science. |
