Title | Letter from [Michael] Foster, Nine Wells, Great Shelford, Cambridge, to [Robert William Frederick] Harrison |
Creator | Foster; Sir; Michael (1836-1907); British physiologist |
Date | 21 January 1903 |
Description | Foster informs of his ill health, cold and temperature which are preventing him from travelling. Regarding Agassiz, Foster has written a letter which could be dispatched if the council wish to make discussion meeting. In regard to [Maria Mathilda] Ogilvie-Gordon, Foster assumes she wishes the apper not to be accpeted or read and requests confirmation from Lankester. Foster is unable to 'furnish' the memo he promised for the Friday Committee, but has sent Armstrong some notes. The sleeping sickness [African trypanosomiasis] worries Foster the most, he has advised [David] Bruce to see [William Henry] Power and written to them both. |
