DescriptionDavies will have Professor Chapman's correspondence copied and returned and assumes General Winterbotham's proposal will be discussed later. Davies discusses entertaining two German gentlemen including Verschuer. Davies and Verschuer compared notes on the war service and Verschuer does Italian connection. Davies discusses his opinion of Kaye who is currently working on the Central Register, and suggests he receive a pay increase. Hobkirk's three month temporary engagement on the Register finishes today though it is proposed to retain him for a few weeks more. Matters relating to the Stead and Browne estates will demand Lyons' attention on his return. Davies will send a report of the Finance Committee. Lord William Morris Nuffield will be admitted into the Fellowship tomorrow.
