DescriptionIs sending a copy of their 1937 report. The bank balance of the Council is very close to £1000 and he will obtain a statement. The only commitments outside the country are annual grants to Professor Brunner at Zurich for the 'Bulletin of Solar Activity' and to Professor [Johannes Martinus] Burgers at Delf for the Committee on Science and Social Activity. There may later be a small sum due to Professor Abetti of Florence for the recently published volume on solar and terrestrial relationships.
