Description | Material on the bequest to the Royal Society, in memory of his wife Marion, by Professor Andrew Russell Forsyth. The bequest was his residuary estate. Forsyth imposed no obligation on the fund, but suggested that it might be used in aid of medical research, especially in relation to cancer and like diseases. By order of Council it was determined that the income might be used in conjunction with the Foulerton bequest. |
