DescriptionThe Committee was appointed to take care of a "Repository for the Curiousities of Art and Nature belonging to the Society".

The curiousities - then in the custody of Robert Hooke - were to be moved to a specially fitted gallery at the west-end of Gresham College, where their custodian would be Nehemiah Grew.
