Title | Letter from Bertram Hopkinson, Engineering Laboratory, Cambridge, to Dugald Clerk, 57 Lincoln's Inn Fields. London |
Date | 3 January 1915 |
Description | He has gone to Portsmouth with Petavel where Gwynne has already nearly completed their full sized anchor type. They have not started on Petavel's other than discussing it. He and Petavel will make additional scale-versions of their systems. Gwynne will make experiments on the pull in different streams and a date will be arranged for trials when all anchors are complete. Tennyson d'Eyncourt has explained what was wanted in an interview and Hopkinson will suggest experiments. |
