TitleLetter from William Napier Shaw, 10 Moreton Gardens, Old Brompton Road, London, to Sir Archibald [Geikie]
Date25 October 1908
DescriptionShaw states that he has gotten Scott's letter, forwarded to him by Geikie, detailing the errors Scott has found in Shaw's preface to the Meteorological Volumes. He says he has 'wasted' much time in a reply in order to convince Captain Scott that his protest is unjustified. Shaw asks to see Geikie in person. He suspects that Scott's criticism is influenced by Mr. Bernacchi [?].
