DescriptionCorrespondence and papers relating to NASA's invitation to Priniciple Investigators with an interest in the interaction of the lunar surface and solar and galactic radiation to have a more direct imput into the planning of sample collection during Apollo 16, resulting in a conference for special samples held in Houston 2-3 September 1971. Includes handwritten notes taken at the conference. Handwritten list of Apollo 16 samples with original weights, material consumed and total returned, and cutting and chipping descriptions for samples 65015 and 61175.
