DescriptionThe Committee who are to consider applying to the Admiralty for the service of a surveying vessel consists of Evans, Professor [Thomas George] Bonney, Mr F Darwin, Professor [Edwin Ray] Lankester and Admiral [William James Lloyd] Wharton. The committee has no Secretary but Rix thinks Evans or Bonney would be the most suitable to instruct him to issue summonses for a preliminary meeting at which a Secretary can be appointed.
