TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Edward Albert Sharpey-Schafer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date22 June 1896
DescriptionAcknowledges the return of Dr [Francis] Gotch's note on [Augustus Desire] Waller's paper. Harrison thinks it very probable that the Committee of Papers did pass the paper subject to the referee's suggested amendments, but, as Harrison is not present at their deliberations and has heard nothing about the matter from either of the Secretaries, he has nothing to go upon except for the word 'Trans.' written against the paper on the minutes, indicating that the paper is ordered for the Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. Harrison hopes to see one of the Secretaries tomorrow to ascertain definitely how much amendment the Council intended to be enforced.
