DescriptionWith reference to Fleming's letter to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] of the 12th June, Harrison states that the Council at their last meeting decided to grant Fleming £50 from the Donation Find to assist him and Professor [James] Dewar in their researches on the diamagnetic qualities of metals at low temperatures. The cheque will be sent as soon as Fleming can obtain the signature of the Treasurer [John Evans].
