Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Charles Chree, Kew Observatory, Richmond, Surrey |
Date | 21 July 1896 |
Description | In reply to Chree's letter of the 21st, the Treasurer [John Evans] has started for abroad and Harrison must defer payment of the interest of the Gassiot Fund until after the vacation. For the same reason he would be much obliged if Chree would settle Adie's account of £7-10-0, and send Harrison a claim for the amount, with the receipted bill, about the middle of September. Harrison is quite powerless to make any payments except petty cash in the absence of the Treasurer. Return Adie's bill [not attached]. |
