| Description | Explains why there should not be a meeting of the Zoological Committee on the second Thursday in June. Suggests that when Lankester wishes to call a meeting of his Committee at the Society's apartments, that he first consult the Assistant Secretary as to whether it would be convenient with regards to the other business of the Society.
Will shortly send suggestions as to the most convenient methods of carrying on the work of Lankester's Committee.
The only matters they have to report to the Zoological Committee are the paper by Mr [Edward Alfred] Minchin 'On Leucosolenia variabilis', upon which action has already been taken with Lankester's concurrence, and a short paper by Mr Herbert Thompson, 'On Changes in Dimensions of Carapace of Carcinus moenas' which under the powers vested in the Secretaries by the Standing Orders, they have accepted for consideration and had set up for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. |
