Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Joseph Lister, President , Royal Society |
Date | 23 October 1896 |
Description | Harrison is much obliged by Lister's note and as time presses and as he has no one else to refer to, Harrison is taking the responsibility of sending out the notices for the House Committee for Tuesday, as Professor [Michael] Foster said that was the only day when he could come up before the Council Meeting.
A notice of the meeting is going to Lister, as to the ordinary members of the Committee, and contains a draft list of the invitations it is usual to send. If Lister has any wishes regarding altering or making additions to this list he asks Lister to note them on the draft and return it before the meeting.
As a post script Harrison reminds Lister that he has a letter from the Royal Academy which will be wanted for the next Council. |
