TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Professor William Ramsay, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date10 March 1897
DescriptionThe paper by Ramsay, [E P] Perman and [J] Rose-Innes [Adiabatic Relations of Ethyl Oxide], has been recommended for the '[Philosophical] Transactions [of the Royal Society]' by the Sectional Committee. One of the referees has made some suggestions for consideration but the Committee do not make the author's acceptance a condition of publication.

Although the Committee will have to assent to these findings on Thursday, to expedite matters under Standing Order 43, Rucker sends the paper at once [not attached], and shall be glad if Ramsay will let him know by Thursday if he intends to make any alterations. If he does, Rucker asks them to be made and the paper returned, as soon as possible.
