TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Arthur Schuster, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date1 November 1897
DescriptionMr Burke has sent in his revised paper and though he has done his best to meet the referee's [wishes] both he and [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook think it capable of further reduction. The type written copy was also very faulty and if printed as it stood it would have entailed heavy correction expenses. Has been over the manuscript and made a number of suggestions. Rucker and the Chairman want to know if Schuster would let Rucker ask Burke when he meets with him to show the manuscript to Schuster before returning it again.
