DescriptionIn reply to letter of 19 [February], which has come to Foster in the absence of Mr Galton, the President and Council of the Royal Society have nominated Professor A W Rucker and Professor J Perry as their representatives to confer with Mellor for the preparation of the insertion of a clause in the London United Tramways Bill (1898) for the protection of the Kew Observatory from the probable effects of the Electric Tramways.
