Description'I beg to call your attention to the enclosed suggestions of the committee with respect to an additional figure. If you accept them kindly prepare & send to the Asst. Sec. a fig. as proposed.

The Committee think it would be desirable, either to add a view of the "illuminating and observing apparatus" as seen from the opposite side to that shown in Fig. 2, or to introduce some diagrams which would make it easier to understand the details of the illuminating apparatus which are hidden from view in the Figure'.
