DescriptionRequests Herdman's attendance at a meeting of a Committee consisting of Sir W T Thiselton-Dyer, Professor Weldon, Professor Herdman, Professor Bonney, Sir John Murray, and Professor Lankester, which has been asked to advise on an application to the Royal Society by Dr G H Fowler for assistance in securing the use of H.M.S. "Research" next August. Encloses a copy of Dr Fowler's statement, and also five pamphlets on the Plankton of the Faeroe Channel. Please then circulate to people mentioned.
