| Description | There seems to have been a small misunderstanding about the collotype plate. The engravers did not submit fresh proofs. The engravers are printing off the edition at the same time as another plate for the Royal Society, which is on the same machine as a matter of economy. They will send a spare pull or two, lettered, which the Society will forward to Seward and which he will no doubt find satisfactory. |
