TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to George Robert Milne Murray, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date24 October 1899
DescriptionIs now able to enclose the memorandum of Murray's committee in the modified form which Sir Joseph Hooker has accepted and signed. The other members of the sub-committee must sign it, to facilitate this Harrison is having mimographed copies made.

Sir Michael Foster notes that the report ought to be circulated among the Joint [Antarctic] Committee and is having sufficient copies taken off but Harrison supposes it cannot be sent out till all the signatures are obtained, for which there it not very much time.

Foster thinks it would be a good plan for Murray not to attempt to get all the sub-committee together before the Joint Committee, but to invite the Chairmen to meet at some point on Friday before the Joint Committee at 2.30pm. Lists the names of the Chairmen. Foster thinks Murray will require the consent of Sir Joseph Hooker to summon this meeting in the name of the Biological Sub-Committee.
