Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster |
Date | 11 May 1888 |
Description | Concerns matters of Royal Society business.
The Lord Advocate's Election letter is enclosed for Foster to sign and post [not included]. Professor Judd has requested to postpone the Delta B Committee to give him more time, and he cannot report to the next Council. The Chief Rabbi has written to ask Foster if he can attend the next Society Soirée, and Rix asks if Dr Martineau can attend, noting that due to his age of eighty-three he is unlikely to attend many times. Henry Nicholas Ridley has written about publications of the Fernando do Noronha Expedition, but Rix believes the matter can wait until Thursday. |
