TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to William Turner Thiselton-Dyer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date23 January 1889
DescriptionStates that at the last meeting of the Library Committee they were instructed to submit to Dyer the enclosed list [not included] of prices for the back issues of the periodicals recently added to the Library at Dyer's insistance. Dyer is to select the most important from the list, with the total expenditure not to exceed fifty pounds. Since the resolution, Rix has been trying to secure exchanges, resulting in his obtaining the back issues of the 'Annales du Jardin botanique de Buitenzorg', but the rest of the list still requires Dyer's attention.

Rix notes it may be too late for Dyer to report back tomorrow, so encloses the list in case it should be impossible.
