Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Edward Bagnall Poulton, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 7 February 1901 |
Description | Sent notice to the Antarctic Office of Poulton's proposed motion tomorrow concerning a deputy scientific director, with a request that it should be issued to the Joint Committee. In deference however to the strong opinion of Sir Archibald Geikie and Sir William Wharton, Harrison has not given in Poulton's name formal notice of a motion to reconsider the question of filling up vacancies, as Geikie has included a paragraph on this subject in the amendments which he proposes to move. |
