Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Clerk of Works, His Majesty's Office of Works |
Date | 1 October 1902 |
Description | The Postmaster General is connecting the Society with the Telephone Exchange and it is necessary to put in a particular service for the telephone wire into the area of Burlington House fronting on Piccadilly, and then to lead the wire through the basement of the Geological Society into the Royal Society. Would be glad if the Clerk could give the necessary consent to the General Post Office and expedite the matter as much as possible as the Society is anxious to be connected up at once. |
