Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Charles Edward Fagan, Assistant Secretary, British Museum (Natural History), Cromwell Road, S.W. |
Date | 21 October 1902 |
Description | In reply to Fagan's letter of 17 October, in which he states the Director of the British Museum (Natural History) requests the use of the blocks of plate five of volume 69 of the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' illustrating a paper by Mr Theobald, 'A Short Description of the Culicidae of India, with Descriptions of new Species of Anopheles', it is not the Society's practice to lend blocks but cliches can be made. Fagan may anticipate leave of Council to proceed with this and Harrison is ordering the printers to make cliches and send them on.
Encloses various reports to the Malaria Committee containing communications by Messrs [John William Watson] Stephens and [Samuel Rickard] Christophers dealing with mosquitoes. Queries if Fagan has the complete series of reports. |
