DescriptionIs requested by the Secretaries to call Sedgwick's attention to the enclosed proof of Mr MacBride's paper on the development of Echinus esculentus which Sedgwick communicated [not enclosed]. The Secretaries consider that the corrections and additions made by MacBride are such as the Society cannot reasonably be expected to accept. Discusses the Secretaries concerns. Asks Sedgwick to either return the paper with the Society's remarks to the author or send in such of MacBride's notes as Sedgwick considers should be accepted, as dated addenda to the paper.
