| Description | Harrison fears it is impossible to grant his wish for copies of Mr Carr's paper 'On the Laws governing Electric Discharges in Gases at Low Pressures' before the end of May. The paper has to go to referees, and until their reports have been received no steps can be taken towards printing it, which will itself be a lengthy process as it is a big paper. Harrison is in contact with the referees in the hope of moving things along, but he is not hopeful. |
