| Description | Foster communicates that at the last Tropical Diseases Committee of the Royal Society, Major Ronald Ross highlighted the importance of studying a new parasite believed to be the cause of widespread disease recently discovered in India. As the Committee has no direct connection with the India Office themselves, they decided to refer it to the Society's India Advisory Committee and suggest that Dyer, as Chairman, raise the matter with Mr Broderick.
Foster encloses a memorandum drawn up by Ross. He states that the Committee concur with Ross's belief in the importance of studying the new parasite as completely as possible without delay. |
