Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to William Turner Thiselton-Dyer, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 30 May 1889 |
Description | Rix states that he has not heard from Professor Wyndham Roland Dunstan, who sent in a short abstract for his paper, about whether it is intended for 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' or 'Proceedings of the Royal Society', and asks if Dyer knows. Rix must know at once or he will not have the full paper in type for the meeting, which is necessary for a 'Proceedings' paper. Rix's suspicion is raised as it would be very short for a 'Philosophical Transactions' paper. |
