TitleCopy letter from an unknown correspondent, to Mr Collings, 172 Strand
Date26 July 1889
DescriptionEncloses 31 figures for Professor Arthur William Rücker and Thomas Edward Thorpe's Bakerian Lecture [not included] for 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society', and asks what the cost would be for the cheapest possible style. If Collings agrees that these are just the things to be done by process, Professor Arthur Schuster could lend the large diagrams from which they are photographed, which would bring them out better.

Also notes that the numerals are badly written, and so asks for an estimate for cuts as well, so that he can tell what the difference would be. Also asks if the printer now sends 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' as they had orders to do so.
