| Description | Acknowledges receipt of Thiselton-Dyer's letter of the previous day, which he will lay before the Joint Meeting of the three sectional committees next Wednesday. Regarding the last paragraph of Thiselton-Dyer's letter, his name appears on the list of the Botany Committee in the 1904 'Year Book', which is sent to all Fellows of the Society. This list represented the committee as appointed at the end of December 1903. The letter author has no reason to suppose that any exception was made in Thiselton-Dyer's case to the rule that a notice is sent to each individual when newly appointed to membership of a committee. |
