Title | Copy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Dr [Ludwig] Mond, [Fellow of the Royal Society] |
Date | 11 July 1905 |
Description | In June when they thought Mond would be away, the Council nominated Professor Armstrong, Larmor and Mr O Thomas, to be delegates to the International Catalogue Convention. When Larmor learned Mond hoped to be here, Larmor delayed sending notification with the idea that the Council might wish to reconsider their nomination. On 6 July Council felt it necessary a botanist attend and they refused to allow Larmor to withdraw as they insisted an Officer ought to attend also. The Royal Society delegates are to suggest that the Convention be asked to invite Mond's assistance. |
