Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor [Edwin Ray] Lankester, [Fellow of the Royal Society] |
Date | 22 October 1905 |
Description | Encloses a copy of the letter written by [Edward Alfred] Minchin [not enclosed] in answer to Geikie's request for his opinion on the suggestions made by the Committee at its last meeting, with regard to fly-proof cages [for the monkeys]. Lankester will see that they may have to concede to the moving of the laboratory, but before any step is taken they ought to have a meeting of the Tropical Diseases Committee. Asks if Lankester would like the meeting postponed until he is able to attend it. [David] Bruce is not back from South Africa yet and Geikie presumes some other members are 'hardly in harness' yet. Minchin's paper was just in time to be included in the 'Proceedings' which will be out this week. |
