Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Surgeon-General Branfoot |
Date | 16 October 1905 |
Description | Colonel [David] Bruce writes that Branfoot has never received any communication from the Royal Society on the subject of Captain Greig's services in the Sleeping Sickness enquiry. Geikie duly wrote to the Colonial Office and asked that Captain Greig's claims to recognition should be brought by that office before the India Office. Encloses a copy of this letter and of the Colonial Office reply [not enclosed]. Queries if the matter is now resting with the India Office. Asks if Branfoot can ascertain whether the matter has been under consideration. |
