DescriptionIn reply to Minchin's letter of 4 November 1906, there will be no objection to Minchin borrowing the three and two millimeter Zeiss lenses recently returned from Uganda, for use in Minchin's research on Sleeping Sickness at the Lister Institute, provided it is distinctly understood that the lenses are the property of the Government Grant Committee and must be returned to the Society at the conclusion of his particular research, or sooner if required. The binocular microscope Minchin refers to has been handed over to the Uganda Protectorate authorities.
