Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor John Milne, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 16 February 1907 |
Description | Horace Darwin knows of a man engaged in London who he thinks might be suitable as an assistant for Milne. Darwin wrote to him and received a reply, which Geikie enclosed [no enclosures]. He is not a university man, but seems accustomed to to the kind of work Milne would require him to do. The list of duties has also been sent to him. Understands Milne is coming to London, and if he thinks favourably of this application, perhaps an interview could be arranged. |
